I was unable to sleep this morning, so I wandered outside to snap a few pictures in the fog. I think my creative energies run much stronger when I'm sleep deprived, because I came up with a couple of photos that I really, really like. These are all overly compressed, so expect artifacts and some general quality loss, but I'd really appreciate comments and critiques.
First, a simple snap of the fog.. this one's a bit generic, and my least favourite of the lot:
The fog was very, very thick. I had trouble getting the trees even that visible. This next is my second favourite, and is heavily processed for a very digital art look. My reasoning for taking that path is explained on the photo's information:
I'm pretty happy with the result. The photo itself is okay, but it lacked the kick I seem to require when very tired. This next is by far my favourite, although I imagine it'll be the least liked on DPC. I consider it to be quite possibly the most "me" photo I've ever taken - dark, grainy, and a little abstract:
Very fond of the last one. Feedback on any/all of the three would be greatly appreciated. |
