For those interested, is getting closer.

I personally will patiently wait until a stable version is out. I seems that it will be hard to match the 5DMKIII video performance mainly due to the limitations of the SD cards writing speeds. I have to say that for my needs this camera is close, very close to perfect.

From a stills perspective, the 6D is a very, very good machine at an incredibly attractive price. I've been seriously considering picking one up, although I probably won't in the near term. When I want to play, I can temporarily liberate the one I have at work for microscopy. I'm hoping to do a little night sky work later in the summer to test out the capability of the camera for astro work.
It will be interesting to watch what the ML developer team can squeeze out of it with regard to RAW video. The early results are encouraging, but ultimately the write speeds are going to limit the system.
