Fire and Ice is my 100th challenge. What an appropriate challenge to enter for number 100. I figure that sometimes I needed a fire lit under me to go out and shoot then I needed to freeze my emotions when my images finished lower than I thought they should!
Thank you to everyone here, I have learned so much from you and I have so much more to learn. This is true not just for photography but also for things in everyday life. I have made new friends, won the last wins thread so may times and laughed at so many of your posts. I have pushed myself to comment more, which is hard for me, and I have slowly increased my average. I have learned to enter what I like not what I think the voters will like. I have also learned to enter images that are not great but entries that have pushed me out of my comfort zone. The last one that did this to me was missed focus. I had an image planned in my head and set out to capture it. Well that was a disaster! I did learn that I cannot "see" what I can't see!!
Last week I had the great privilege to meet some fellow DPCer's -  MichaelC, RayEthier and  Snaffles hopefully I will get to meet many more over the next few years!

| You already have the 2 most important tools to succeed, a big heart and a great attitude....congratulations. |

It goes much faster if you enter three challenges/week instead of three/month! But, you have to view the "challenge" more as getting *something* submitted than getting a great score ... |
