Howdy all!
I've ended up here after meeting Pamb in a completely photography unrelated setting and she seems to have prodded my creative needs.
After moving to a smallish country town from the 'big smoke', taking on a puppy and rather all consuming job, I've ended up creatively vacant and my camera has almost sat completely dormant. Talking to Pamb and sharing some shots she suggested this site might just be what I need.
So here I am, time to get back in the saddle, start posting on my blog again, discover new techniques (to me) and enjoying life through the lens.

| Welcome! You're on the right site for creativity prodding... just don't feed the Godzilla. Or squirrels. And do watch out for the guy with the horse head. Other than that, you'll be fine, promise! |

Welcome Alexander! DPC is definitely a place to both challenge and motivate you to go out an shoot pictures. There are the weekly challenges that are announced but don't overlook the Side Challenges and Tournaments in the forum threads as that those too are a great way to learn, have fun and share with others.

I agree, that Pamb, totally trouble - hell I even have proof - she led you HERE of all places.

And the best advice you'll get today:
Check the date on your camera, make certain they are right.

| Welcome! Looking forward to seeing your photos in some challenges. It was need for a creative outlet that led to renewing my interest here at DPC again. It definitely meets that need... So just jump right in. :) |

And don't believe anything that Slippy or Cory spouts... Slippy's still getting over his latest disease and BOTH of them like rocks. What more do I have to say? ;D |

Hahah thanks everyone, sure seems like the nut house!
I'll pay membership this weekend and get some portfolio shots up then I'll start exploring the site for my first challenge. |
