Ha!
I'll support Fine Arts Exhibit III
if you'll support
Vivaldi!
I've been trying for that one at for nearly as long as I've been a member.
I won't even ask you to define "Fine Arts."
:) |

Don't get me wrong, I love Vivaldi, but I don't see how he outranks the collective members of the Bach family if we're going for Baroque ... :-) |

It was no contest, once the Bach family disowned PDQ Bach immortalized by the great Peter Scheckele. It was so baroque. Sad. But true. |

Yes, I saw you were acquainted with good ol' P.D.Q.
I am lucky enough to have a copy of the 'very limited edition' of
The Definitive Biography of P D Q Bach, written by the aforementioned Professor
when he was based at the "University of Southern North Dakota at Hoople"
precisely beginning at 12:03am on 24 July 1975.
The binding has not stood the test of time. Still, the words in the preface remain clear:
"...whereas hearing the works of P D Q Bach comforts the listener with the ego-building and not unrealistic feeling that, even if he has had no music lessons, he could easily do as well with one ear, as it were, tied behind his back." |
