I work as a gardener, so I see them all the time.
But here, it is amazing how macro shots of flowers seem to fit every challenge. But, I do like a good photo of a flower that includes its Latin name.
I like your shot and as a dummy photographer think it is pleasing in an abstract way, however I prefer to see them with the greenery. It seems to be moving towards art rather than a flower photo.
But, who am I to comment? |

Thanks for the comment Steve, I guess with plants you are an expert so people should listen to you. As for plants fitting every challenge I was wondering how to backlight this lol.
I wouldn't go as far as saying this was abstract but see where you are coming from, its just that the uncropped version was, well, boring.
