		| My husband, who is usually very good with computers, tried to download and install Adobe's Pixelbender for use in CS5. Everything appears to have gone well, but I cannot see it in my filters. We have shut down and restarted the computer. Still nothing. Any ideas? |

No ,I have just tried to install it into CS4 as that was the only one I saw for the Mac but have had no luck.
I don't really know what I am doing so have given up.
Can you not do what that does in Photoshop anyway, not sure what it does ?
In other words today I know nothing ( as in most days)
Someone really knowledgeable will be along soon I,m sure. |

Locate the Pixel Bender Toolkit in one of the following locations (depending on your operating system) and double-click the icon to launch the Pixel Bender Toolkit:

Windows: Start menu > Adobe program group > Adobe Utilities > Pixel Bender Toolkit
Mac OS: Applications > Utilities > Adobe Utilities > Pixel Bender Toolkit

check out this page and the tutorials: Pixel Bender

Pixel Bender is not a filter itself, but a tool to create filters. The info and tutorials on the link above should help you.
