My husband, who is usually very good with computers, tried to download and install Adobe's Pixelbender for use in CS5. Everything appears to have gone well, but I cannot see it in my filters. We have shut down and restarted the computer. Still nothing. Any ideas?

No ,I have just tried to install it into CS4 as that was the only one I saw for the Mac but have had no luck.
I don't really know what I am doing so have given up.
Can you not do what that does in Photoshop anyway, not sure what it does ?
In other words today I know nothing ( as in most days)
Someone really knowledgeable will be along soon I,m sure.

Locate the Pixel Bender Toolkit in one of the following locations (depending on your operating system) and double-click the icon to launch the Pixel Bender Toolkit:

Windows: Start menu > Adobe program group > Adobe Utilities > Pixel Bender Toolkit
Mac OS: Applications > Utilities > Adobe Utilities > Pixel Bender Toolkit

check out this page and the tutorials: Pixel Bender

Pixel Bender is not a filter itself, but a tool to create filters. The info and tutorials on the link above should help you.
