For a few days now, only blur, noise, render, sharpen, stylize, video, and other are available in my filter dropdown menu (plus 3rd party filters). All the others are grayed out (filter gallery, artistic, brush strokes, distort, pixelate, sketch, and texture). Any ideas?

Has your image mode changed? Other than that I can't help!

Try dropping your image to 8 bits.

Thanks Judi! Found that answer in a search, and yes, that was it. Why would PS give you other bit options if they don't support the entire program...?????
