A totally meh start for one I thought was a killer shot. But that's normal around here. Still an even 5.

| A sub-5 start for me again. Now if I could only stay sub-5. It's so much nicer than a 5.1 or 5.2, for instance. |

nonononnono!!! I put a boring shot in as a place holder. I finished a different shot. I haven't had anything in for a week because of an extremely busy month (and the weeks before have only had so-so things for the same reason!).
I finished up the shot I wanted
and I was so tired, I completely forgot to enter the shot!!
5.5 on the boring shot :(

Disappointing score. Dropped a full point in the last 6 votes. I thought the TPL was over, but there are still very strange votes being cast. It's hard to understand. |

That pretty much sums things up around here lately. Either that or you have to submit an image that falls within certain categories, for instance B&W street photography seems to be hugely popular lately. Not that Jagar doesn't consistently give us spectacular images. But I've seen others post some pretty mediocre street shots and score much better than others in different categories, just because of the subject. |

Yes, my preferred subjects don't have mass appeal on their own. I know if I want to consistently score highly, I need to take on dramatic landscapes as my preferred subject, or start doing more old guys with big mustaches. I also need to go out shooting for challenges, specifically putting a lot more work into impressing others.
