Here also is part one for those who have missed it. For those who enjoy true poetry, please forgive me. It's all meant in fun.
In fair DPC, a place on the ânet
Dwells a king and his subjects (and Godzilla, a pet).
The King is not seen; his palace too high
He sends down his commands from a place in the sky.
Thrice weekly he shouts to the minions below
Go forth my fair subjects and bring me a show!
I wish to see pictures of wondrous things
Of sunsets and horses and feathered birdâs wings.
Of dragons and maidens and demons so foul
Of flowers and children and wolves when they howl.
In return for the work that you all must now do
Iâm willing to hand out a ribbon or two.
The colors be blue, and then red and then yellow
(You see, I am quite a generous fellow).
To keep everyone honest I shall hire a crew
Of talented wizards to keep tabs on you.
And the people they smile and sometimes they smirk
For they know they are truly best at this work.
And they sit and they wait for the kingâs wish to come down
and gather their ribbons from the man in the crown.

Now in this fair town many abide
Their talents are awesome, their thoughts they wonât hide.
They are willing to share the things that they know
To help all who enter the kingâs magical show.
Now recently in this most happy place
the king pronounced grandly (a wicked smile on his face)
My subjects you shall all be happy to know
I have finally decided on one weekly show.
The theme of this show shall be a meme
No letters allowed in whatever your scheme.
And the people looked up with growing despair
WTF said a few has he run out of air?
Has he lost his mind? Is his head filled with moss?
Without letters we canât get our message across!
They started to murmur and then rant and then cry
But the king just ignored them from his palace on high.

PART TWO

So the people went home, many thoughts in their heads
They did not sleep well that night in their beds.
Some were greatly puzzled by the kingâs last decree
They wondered just what this meme thing could be.
And so to the âknower of all thingsâ they did go
To discover the meaning behind this meme show.
Some came away being much more enlightened
Others stopped seeking, rightfully frightened.
This challenge was not meant for those faint of heart
And so to the drawing board some souls did start.

In particular one brave knight scooped up his lance
He could envision that ribbon! at his wife he did glance.
His steely eyed look did scare her of course
And she ran when he called for the head of a horse.
So down to the basement to a trunk she did go
To extract the one prop that could well win the show.
âTwas the head of a horse made of plastic and hair
(She despaired it would cover his face, oh so fair).
To the top of the steps she gladly returned
To help win a ribbon for which he had yearned.
At this time he sat at theâ knower of thingsâ
Sifting through pictures he laughs and he sings.
Dear husband! she cried her voice full of alarm
From the look of those pictures do you wish now to farm?
Oh no he chuckled from beneath his large âstache
Iâm winning a ribbon, maybe next will come cash!
And for you I shall buy all manner of things
Then back to the knower, he looks and he sings.

Now in another cottage on the far side of the town
Sat a fair lady admiring a gown
Her husband sat also at theâ knower of thingsâ,
Scratching his head and flashing his rings.
For he was a knight of talent and grace
He looked up at his wife with a much troubled face.
I do not understand what I can present at this show
For usually from my head many thoughts flow.
This challenge, my wife, has filled me with dread,
For this time no ideas come to my head.
Then suddenly as that an idea did sprout
and at his faithful wife he did loudly shout.
Dearest! you must immediately put on that gown!
And sit tight my love for I must go to town!
For on the ends of your fingers the nails we must fake
And also dear wife I must buy a cake.

At yet a third cottage close by the beach
sat another brave night, his lance well within reach.
From this latest challenge he knew heâd not cower
He sat and he pondered for many an hour.
A great love of water had this man in his heart
In the kingâs newest show he would gladly take part.
He wanted to show his love of the sea
He closed his keen eyes and set his thoughts free.
And so he shuddered not through the night
For he knew that with beauty could win the fight.

to be continued....
