How is this deal? $439 - 6% coupon for next purchase
this is IS USM version and not older version.

Actually, it comes to 439 AFTER the 6% coupon is applied.
It's a very nice price, and it's an Adorama deal, so that's a good sign. |

I checked the details of this 6% thingy and here it is: means $439 is before 6% it seems like :)

| Well, anyway, the the cost of the lens out of pocket is $465, and then 40 days later you get the credit to use on something else. More or less... |

If is the IS USM version seems like an awesome price. I checked some stores here in HK and without $650+ you can't touch it.
