Send in a ticket to SC under "contact us > General Inquiry" and ask for a self-DQ, explaining why.

It is i think. A self DQ. Just send a ticket to the site council.

As to why you'd want to do it. Why bother? The only reasons i can see is if you've just realised that it would be a DQ anyway through a mistake of your own. Which is fair enough as a DQ can stop you submitting at a later date in some situations. Or, perhaps, if it's an emotional image that you want to pull for personal reasons. Again, totally fair enough.

If it's because it's getting a bad score then sod it i say. Keep it in. Nothing wrong with a low score.

Nothing wrong with a low score at all! If everything were mainstream, life would be such a bore.

Keep in mind that a self DQ is still counted as a DQ. Get another DQ in the 25 challenge time frame and you get a suspension.

Before submitting I didn't like the image but just for the hack of submission i Post it and this morning I thought to pull it out. Anyway I will keep it though the image is not doing bad at all :)

If there is an editing (or other rules) violation it cannot be a "self-DQ" -- it would just be a "regular" DQ. The only significant difference between the two is that images subject to a "regular" DQ are displayed at the end of the results, while a "self" DQ is not.

The whole idea of the "self-DQ' was originally to accomodate situations such as a model having a change of mind about having a picture posted. All the other rules and penalties apply to both types of DQ, to discourage people from constantly removing images which don't meet their scoring expectations ...
