You could try photographing a projected image, or an image projected through a ground glass, similar to Cory's experiments with the huge large format lenses.
I wonder if a telescope 90 degree angle viewer would make a projected image shooter? Put the pinhole on one end, a small piece of white paper over the 45 deg mirror, and shoot the projected image with the camera on the other end of the viewer, where the eyepiece would normally go. I would guess that any setup similar to one end of a periscope, only using a white card for the projection, instead of a mirror or prism might work. The larger the image is on the paper, the sharper it would be.

So the idea would be to make a way to shoot inside a camera obscura ...
Seems like the image would be pretty distorted without using a tilt-shift lens ... |

Very interesting, but far more complicated than I can get into right now ... thanks for the link! |

Cory's system was to essentially set up a large format camera and photograph the image in the ground glass with his Canon DSLR.
It would work about the same with a pinhole lens, but the image would be so dim that you would need to keep all the side light out of the system as you shoot.
I may try building a setup similar to your drawing to see if it would work. My thoughts are that the focal length would be quite different from one edge of the white card to the other as the image is projected on it by the pinhole.
Your drawing is pretty similar to what Ann did to make the bedroom image except that the camera was actually inside the space. |

Regrettably, I have nothing for pinhole day. We arrived home a little late and there is just not enough time for me to pull something together. Hopefully I'll capture something over the next few days and post here. Look forward to seeing what others come up with. |

Here's my offering to the world of pinhole lenses. (I had planned something at the lake, but that did not work out so I shot what I could right before the sun went down.)

Oops. I guess this year it was on the 26th ( Sunday). I will still try to add a pinhole shot tonight. |

I put two holes in the foil so i have a double image with some overlap.
