Every once in a while, I try to learn something by posting a photograph and asking for your help...so here goes:
How would you crop?
How would you photoshop?
Any tips?
Any appeal to this photograph?

Ummm, Crop out the road, a little of the top, and the left side of the big tree, leaving just the laundry and some greenery. Amature opinion, but that's the best I can come up with.

Always ask yourself what you are trying to show with a picture, and how specifically you are showing it. In this case I think the answers to those questions will help you know what to do in post processing (that could have been done at time of exposure).
ie: Why did you include a corner of sky? What is the significance of the large are of road? What is the significance of the grnnery around the clothesline? Is the clothesline your subject? What perspective emphasizes that subject, and minimizes distractions? What focal length allows me to illustrate my subject best?

Thanks cghubbell...This is one of the drive-by shots I got from the back of a pick-up truck during my visit to a church in Honduras.
I was looking through my 960 pictures (many taken from the back of a truck/van) I took during the visit and this is one I thought I could rescue from the many drive-by shots...in my mind, the clothes were the subject.

Crop to include just the subject, as suggested, and straighten the horizon.
