I have an idea for the fairy tales challenge and was wondering if lens flares are legal? Does anyone know?

"You may not post-process your entry to include computer-rendered images."

I know that the lens flare on Adobe is made on the computer, but I'm not too sure if they would disqualify an image for using one.

If you are talking about a lens flare made with the actual lens then you are fine.

Addition of rendered components falls under the "single image" rule. All of the components of the final image must come from a single original, and addition or duplication of features is not allowed. Duplication (cloning) of small areas to eliminate a minor defect is the exception to this rule.
