Manfretto 685B IMHO the first and last Monopod you should ever buy. And IMHO a ballhead on top of a monopod is pretty much a waste of money. I'd never put one on top of my monopod. The monopod pretty much is a ballhead as easy as it is to move around. And this thing can hold some weight. I've had mine for several years and it handles my 400MM F2.8 with no problems at all.
