First, a Botany outtake.
This is from the same plant as the one I entered, but it probably would have done better, as people really seemed to hate the one I chose.
Now a Hope outtake that I never really considered entering.
I would have gone sepia or black and white with this, since it has such dramatic contrast, but the colours of the sunset were too pretty.
And another Hope one, this one being one I really did like.
I would've entered this one if it'd been more obvious that the title and picture go together... but it wasn't obvious in colour, and though the photo was more effective in sepia, with higher contrast, it still looks like a stretch. The photo is of dry grass reaching toward thunderclouds just before the rain.
I didn't enter the Hope challenge at all, by the way. |
