I took this a few months ago, photoshop'd it up with a bunch of different effects. This one is the watercolor effect.

I tend to like photos which end up looking like paintings ... I might even try and accentuate the effect further. : )

The brightest spots on the petals seem a little too light to go with the rest of the picture -- I'd try darkening the highlights a bit with either a tone curve or local burning-in.

I thought the same thing. I'm still pretty new to the world of photoshop but definately enjoy screwing around with it. Should be fun trying to conquer this problem. Thanks for the advice :)

I used a "canvas" texture filter in addition to the vignetting.

I did a pic of my friend with a canvas filter. Then I did 'dark strokes' and it turned out very coor. gave it sort of a gothic feel
