And people think there is a serious competition between canon and Nikon.....poor little nikon... hehehe

I noticed that too. Nikon seem to be more popular with reporters for some reason.

Perhaps because they're stronger, last longer, don't leak as much et., etc., as their main "competition." They are certainly favoured in hostile environments. :-)

These pictures have caused no end of trouble over at SportShooter.com where some "professionals" have had their noses knocked seriously out of joint.

The pictures are a perfect illustration of why so many sports photographs all look the same, give or take an inch or two.

I was joking of course....I loves my nikon friends (in the voice of gollum).

Serious, my Collegue DrJones uses a D1x and I use a D300...what we've come to accept is that we are both inslaved by are "brand"... when you've spent over 5K on lenses and brand specific equipement....your there to stay!

Got a link? I'd be interested to hear some viewpoints on this...

I tried sportshooter.com but it seemed to be a hunting site.

I wish I worked there as the cleanup guy. One of those PG's surely will forget his camera(s)!?

Is that mine, no that one is, or isn't it, damn I wish mine had a pink lense.

which one was your already? was it the cannon with the grey lens??
