Not sure how long you've had it, but you might contact them and inquire about it failing if that's what you think happened. I've heard both good and bad things about Amvona, so it's hard to say. It's generally one of those toss ups where you might have some odd frustrations. Just a d7000 and an 18-200 isn't very heavy though. |

Looks like Nikon is releasing a new lens that looks really interesting.
AF-S nikkor 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR
Safe to buy lenses out of the gate? Or are there bugs that need to be worked out first (like first year on car models...)?

That should be a nice lens. A bit pricey, especially for something that's a 5.6, but I wouldn't worry about quality. |

Confession...I have not read the entire thread...
BUT LR4 (current version) and PSE11 give you a very good editing software...I would highly recommend adding Topaz DeNoise to that group...they really do work together very well.
I will admit that I haven't used the PSE for RAW conversion since PSE7/8 so I'm pretty sure they have made great improvements since then. I have LR3 and PSE10, I use the LR3 for my RAW conversion...I LOVE IT... |
