Hi All,

I am needing to eventually do a test print of a greatly upsized image to verify the potential print quality. The upsized dimension is 120" X 50" @ 300dpi (crazy I know!). I am wondering if there is an easy way to do this 100% cropping so I can have it printed in 8" X 10" without having to get out a calculator? I have a feeling there is just a button to push and do this that I am unaware of :P

Thanks for any assistance offered!

BTW- Surprisingly, CS6 seems to do a much better job of upsizing than Perfect Resize 7.5 did for me (although I am still testing including doing incremental upsizing).

ETA: In further testing; Perfect Resize seems to do the best job as compared to CS6 with heavy upsizing. I'm glad I paid for it now.

Set the rectangular marquee (selection) tool to 8" x 10" @ 300dpi and click on the best part of the image you most want to evaluate (for color, detail, whatever's most imprtant). Once you have placed the selection where you want use the menu Image > Crop and save the result as your test image.

The image from which you make the selection should be completely processed and ready to print (I'm assuming it's also @ 300dpi -- otherwise adjust the above instructions to match).
