| I just noticed I already entered my Best of 2012 entry in a challenge during the year. Was general Inquiries the right slot to put my Self-dq request in? |

I believe you should send a ticket to SC under the "help" drop down menu.
Eta: Reread your question; I think think you are correct. The drop down menu isn't working for me on my iPad.

We've gotten your ticket -- it just takes a while for everyone to check in and then to send a response. Thanks for sending it in so quickly.
One note: in this situation it is a "regular" DQ, not a "self-" DQ only because it actually broke a rule. However, this is (should be) a good thing, because it means that the image will still appear at the end of the challenge results instead of disappearing entirely, so people can still look at it and comment ... otherwise there is no difference between the two types of DQ. |

| Thanks. I went through the original photos and thought "This looks like a good one" and didn't even think to check. There must be something wrong with my ... with my.... oh, you know, that function of the brain that helps you to remember things. |
