Stupid question, I know but for some reason I am becoming more stupid by the day so please let me be and ask what I need to ask;
I bought/upgraded to Lightroom 4 and now even to 4.3. Then I remember in the crevices of my underused memory that I once had ACR too; was it with PS5 or was it with LR3? Is it possible to download and link ACR to LR4? How about TOPAZ? Can I link it to LR$?
Some good soul out there wanting to reply? One of these days I will get some more of what I had enough of and with the time off recovering I want to do some post processing. Thanks Friends! |

I know ACR is the RAW converter included with Photoshop. Not sure about most of your actual questions except for the one about Topaz products. To use Topaz plugins under Lightroom, you need the free Topaz Fusion to integrate it with LR.

ACR actually IS the RAW engine LR uses, basically. When you process in LR, you are using ACR plus some extra bells and whistles. What Spiff says about Topaz is correct: download Fusion and you can run Topaz modules out of LR. |
