So the display on my laptop as well as my other devices are always changing and color is always off whenever I edit my photographs. I've done some research on the different products and software available but just curious who has had success and with what specific tool they used...

Thanks in advance

I use the spyder from Datacolor. Mine is the basic version, where it will only do one display per computer. The more advanced versions will also do multiple displays on the same computer, and even your printer and scanner.

You can tell the difference, and it solved a problem where many voters kept saying my images were too dark.

i use the spyder 4 elite. It wrestled with me a bit, but that was mostly because i lacked knowledge. I picked up some internet knowledge and read the book "color confident". This got me pretty savvy with the whole software-hardware compatibility. Each bit of software will react differently to the same image (unless you synchronize the profiles - and even then some like Canon's DPP are not optimized for multiple screens) regardless of your color management system. This had me scratching my head till i figured it out.

I currently used a color calibrated system with 2 screens that works very well.
If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.
