The dolphins part is trully beautifyl, wonder if they used only the plankton bioluminescence, in that case the camera should have quite a sensitivity. I guess eventually someone will start making videos with single photon cameras... although those would be truly grainy shoots.

How are people judging the image quality? There's no way to view it at 4k right? The heat technology, however, is pretty cool and I assume the "quality" if it goes beyond it being in 4k but something you'd see at standard HD resolutions.

One can only judge at HD, but it's at the top end quality. I can see the difference viewing at hd if it is 2k, 4k or the new 5k and the soon to be released 6k. Johanna's contribution show we are at the brink of a revolution in quality. This was done in 2011 on a 4k Red epic, it's the equivalent of dslr 14 meg but at 96 frames per second. The Ammonite videos & gear are specialized for scientific applications. The Reds are in the commercial sphere, it's reported 48 Red Epics were used in the Hobbit. The new Red Scarlet is the camera for photogs to watch because it will come to the market around $5000US and the Redray player (around $1500US). The Ammonite is a lot more under wraps, but you can see the differing approach in design/application/commercial philosophy. It'll be the accessories that will slay our bank accounts. It's not for everyone, but as Johanna has shown, it is Amazing.
