Does the focus assist on a 430ex, 580exii or 600ex light up when using a Canon st-e3rt as a trigger?

I don't know, but if it does, I don't think it would be useful. The assist lines are setup to match the focus points. If the light is off camera it would be very difficult to line up the assist lights to actually overlap with the focus points. |

I don't think he is asking if it will help focus, just if they flash on/off like they do for cameras that support off camera flash like my 7D. |

A;ways wondered if those lines synced wth the focus lines on the body lol. The st-e3 doesn't have focus assist lights. And I'm looking for a focus assist solution if I was triggering with the st-e3. |
