This is pretty cool. It could help to predict weather more accurately.

I saw that yesterday. Very, very cool. I can imagine how they would trigger the capture; the exposure just has to be a very quick flash. The amount of data they can collect, vs. doing it manually, has got to be enormous! Apparently, the guys that put together the imager are actually selling the design to others as well.
