Just reading this post I realized that without having any particular goals I managed this year to get 10 top tens and and seven ribbons.
I blamed it on my new camera and the fact that DPC is in agony and it does not have any relation with the number of challenges I entered.
Wow, I just brown-nosed myself hehe

I replied to your comment before I read this ... I agree -- just don't worry about the spelling -- either people will know what you mean or they can (politely) ask for clarification.
You can save yourself a text file with a "disclaimer" you could paste into comments, along theline of "sorry for the bad spelling -- I have dyslexia and don't trust spell-checkers"*
*I've done copy-editing, and often find errors made by spell-check software.

| My main DPC goal, one that I'll apparently never be able to realize, is to help administrate the place :-( I have experience, I have plenty of time, but apparently that pond's full-up... Other than that, I had two tangible goals left: a FS ribbon and an 8+ score. I just got the first, and the score seems out of reach the way votes are going these days. Think about it: if you're over 8, then every vote of 8 is a step backwards :-) |

My goal is to get my comments to 5,000 by next year. I used be good at it but have dropped off.
My other goal is to get Bear on the SC. |

Get a score of 7 for at least one photo [SUCCESS]
Win a ribbon [SUCCESS]
Save up to buy a new lens [SUCCESS] |
