Good Day everyone,

Just wanted to know if anyone else that uses CyberSyncs was having this issue: I find that I'm firing my flash during a shoot and the first fire sets the flash off... then when I let my model adjust herself ( maybe a minute ), then I go to shoot again, the flash doesn't fire.... it seems like the CyberSync is only allowing my flash to fire every other shot, so I've had to hit the Test button on the CyberSync Transmitter everytime before I take a shot to get it to fire everytime? I'm using an SB-800 with the CyberSync's... is this normal or is there something i'm missing?

Thanks for the help.

im in the market for a new set as well because my cowboy studio do the same thing.

check your batteries as it is far more prevalent when the batteries get weaker.

then its time to fork over for some more reliable ones. can you trip it with a cord to get by?

Cybers have been bullet proof for me(it's rare to see much bad about them)..... Check batteries in xmit and receivers, check your under you sync speed but otherwise hit their phone nbr and they will sort it out if there is some issue with them. Is it in the same place? radio can be affected by whats around.

Also check to make sure the channel knobs are dead on and not slightly off. Test with a completely different set of batteries just to rule those out. Cybersyncs are bullet proof -- they're as reliable as pocket wizards IMO so you either got a bad one or you're missing something. Also try a completely different sync cord to rule that out as well.

kgeary - you're the man! some how, probably while they were sitting in my bag, the channel knob was slightly off from channel 1 in between channels... moved it back and that fixed it all up nice! thanks so much.
