| How do you interpret this challenge? Is it yet another Christmas challenge whether you participate in it enthusiastically or not? The wording implies that there is no choice and therefore any entries that do not depict Christmas/other festivities will be DNMC'd by DNMC nazis? (I am not taking this as seriously as it may have come across. Merry Christmas! :) |

One cannot live in fear of the DNMC nazis.
"...find a way to express yourself with your camera & some creative post-processing."
Being deep in the Heart of December, I photographed something about which I am enthusiastic. It was a serendipitous experience.

| Take a shot of one of those foggy, abandoned jetty scenes, but photoshop a Santa hat onto one of the boards, or sit in a beach chair with a Santa hat on and stare out into a moody seascape. I have faith I you, you'll come up with a good shot, with a December twist. Or else! (Makes line across throat with one finger, "dnmc necktie") |

| No fog in December, it is summer here. Today will be 40C! I like old jetties but I have photographed them all within 150km from Melbourne! ;) I'll to find something new. |

| I have the winning formula for this one, but since I do not wish to disgrace the front page or myself by winning, I will part with it for a small fee; for a larger fee I will translate it into 'stralian. |
