I've read multiple reviews on this lens and it's supposedly off the charts -- easily rivaling the IQ of the Canon 35 f1.4L -- I just put it on my wishlist. I need a wider option and I've never trusted third party manufacturers before but the outstanding reviews on this lens can't be ignored. And it looks sick on top of that ;)

lol 94 inches
I've heard good things about it, as well. I like my 30 1.4 for dx, but it focuses a bit.. weird.. sometimes. |

| I've got the 30mm 1.4 for my 20d and the 50mm 1.4 for my 5ds and they are both amazing lens yeah they hunt a bit in low light but I think that's more the cameras but the iq is stunning :) |

The issue I have isn't so much hunting in low light as not wanting to refocus for shorter changes in distance at medium distance to subject. An example is if there are 4 individuals on a stage, the first one is say 5m away and the furthest one is 7m, if I change from the front person to the last person, it won't want to focus unless the lens defocuses appreciably first. I've never had that issue with any of my other lenses, so it seemed a bit odd, but never say anybody else have the same complaint. |

I like the look of this. I'm still on the look out for a fast lens in the 28-35mm focal length and this may be good. I did get the manual focus Samyang 35mm 1.4 but it had so much which was bad it outweighed the good (IQ was very good). Build quality is a big thing for me which is one of the reasons i haven't gone with the Nikon 28mm 1.8. This new Sigma looks a solid sturdy thing which i like.
