A couple of days ago there was a natural gas explosion in Sissonville, West Virginia. This is a mere 30 minutes from our home. Thankfully, there were no reported fatalities that I am aware of, and no major injuries to people. Some people lost their homes, including a friend of our family.

Brandy McNeely used to be my daughter's best friend. (Long story, but they are barely on speaking terms). When I heard about the fire, I thought about Brandy. I remembered that she had moved to Sissonville just a few months ago.

Her home was one that was lost. Completely in ruins. Her, her brother, and her mother had moved in with her grandmother.
Unfortunately, their home was one that was demolished in the explosion.

I couldn't imagine going home to just a foundation. Nothing left. Everything completely disintegrated. It's a horrible tragedy.

If you would like to watch the story, you can do so HERE

The teenage girl interviewed is Brandy.

We have bought some clothes for her and her brother, along with a few other items. Once they get a new home, we will be trying to help them with other items as needed.

Please pray for her family!
