ARRRRRRRRG!

I have 16 different systems I need to use and access. Some daily, some less frequently. Each system has a different login and password. I can try to make the passwords all the same, but some are four digit, some are 8 and some require numbers and letters. Some passwords have to be changed monthly, some quarterly, and some annually. Only two never have to be changed. Passwords can not be re-used (the system must store all your old passwords, because it won̢۪t let you) Oh yeah, and it is against company procedure to write your passwords down anywhere, punishable by termination.

Yes, I forgot one and now I’m scramblingâ€Â¦

Sorry, just needed to ventâ€Â¦

ok, here what you need to do:
first, tell me were you work
then give me your usernames and passwords, and tell me what systems they are for
then, i'll fix the problem for you!

see, its all very simple....

My company allows us to use the same password on different systems for non-privileged accounts, so I come up with one that works everywhere (8 letters with numbers and letters). When one expires, I change all 23 to keep them the same. For the one that requires digits, I use a telephone keypad to convert letters to numbers (ABC=2, etc.) It works for me.

My company also allows passwords to be stored in encrypted files, which some of my colleagues do. Other company's policies may differ...

I have about 4 different passwords and 4 different user names. The problem is just the combination!!! :-)) Which username where which pass? :-)
