I don't know why this didn't occur to me before. I think some people here have forgotten this, some, but not all.

As I have gotten into the second week of the comment bomb and seen, once again, a great response, and, once again, a recipient who loved it and the general good vibe it produced, I realized something:

Nothing that Langdon could ever do to this site, no color change, no pixel limit change, no coding whatsoever will ever, EVER be better than what all of us bring to the table. Nothing he could do in an architectual or cosmetic way could ever make me as happy as all of you can when you are workig for the greater good, and giving of your knowledge and resources. Period.
