Hey all
I submitted this shot for the Botany challenge,
then after a little while i started thinking my "outake" was not bad also....
What do you guys think would have done better?

What does the one you submitted look like in color? The outake is very nice - love the color, but the one you submitted seems like it would be better than either (the b/w or the outake) if it was in color.

| I really liked the one you submitted. The only thing I was a bit uneasy with was the way you have framed it (bit to the right of the frame). I scored it high. |

I hate to say it but for me the submission would have scored much higher in colour, and the outtake is by far the best of em all, maybe even top 10 material?

Ooh, I like the color version of the one you submitted - to me, it looks warmer and draws the eye to the center and water droplets (better contrast??). Remember, though, that I am one voter and don't really do well in these challenges. I've learned an awful lot, though.

I personally think the second one, the purple macro, would have placed top 5 this week. Very nice photo :o)

| I'm partial on which shot .. but I'm leaning towards number 2 - I like the color versions best |
