Hey everyone,
Quick question, I was editing in photoshop.. I added a lay over effect that had a bunch of steps to it using masks, when I finished I decided the lay over effect wasn't what I wanted so I hit Command + Option + Z to undo all the steps I did. For some reason, Photoshop would only let me go back about 5 steps, I have 4 more steps I need gone to get back to the original but Command + Option + Z won't work anymore. When I click edit and try to click on " STEP BACK " it isn't lit up for me to choose. Any ideas? |

in preferences you can set how many history states you can go back I am not sure what the defualt is.
All I have right now is PSE 9 but its defualt is 50 not sure if changing it in the middle of a image will make it go back further or not.

| If you did it on a separate layer (which is what I think you meant when you said lay over), just delete the layer. |
