Have an sb26, sb28, two soft boxes, two shoot through umbrellas stands and backdrops.
Also have flashes for my canon and olympus systems so they can be used also.
The following was a shoot I did for my daughters work. They wanted before/after shots for their website (she works in the beauty industry)
First image shows the setup. You will notice I have added a baffle to my umbrellas (homemade). This is to help spread the light and stop hotspots.
Two umbrellas for this job. Basic headshots so nothing special here.
Hope this is what you were after. Have shown both the before and after shot of one person.

I had an idea...
Are most people going to be using the same studio set up for the majority of their shots? Maybe we can upload a shot of our "studios" and Jason could add the thumbnails next to our names in the first post of this thread. That way it would be easy for people to refer to someone's studio if they're interested in the set up.
The only thing is it won't take into account the light positioning.
Just a thought. |

My Membership doesn't go out until the 26th and I have several scheduled shoots in the studio next month. So I'll be in until my membership expires.

I've been in a photography funk for a while, but I like this thread. I'll keep an eye on the image thread for lighting ideas/education/inspiration. Maybe I'll crash your party if I get inspired.
