I do quite a bit of Printing here at home on my Canon Pixma Pro 9000MKII and I also had a MKI that I gave to another DPC member. Canon online has a great deal with some amazing promotions going on right now.

I just picked up $678.62 worth of ink and paper direct from Canon for $152.09. They also have other sales going on.

Check out the site

no affiliation(and I shoot Nikon) but they make a great printer for what I need. Just trying to pass along a deal for someone.

Very good and helpful that you posted the link. There are some good deals there, especially if you need the paper they are offering.

However, I always check the Canon direct prices against the same offerings at:
B&Hphoto and
Amazon

Nine times out of ten, I end up buying ink from B&H. It usually comes down to shipping cost. Occasionally, Amazon will offer a better deal, but you have to wade through their checkout screens to actually see the final delivered price. I've never seen Canon direct price under the other two.

I only buy genuine Canon ink in original packaging. From experience, I would never buy knock-off inks again.... ever. Messy! And, they screw up your printer.

In all fairness, I don't do much "at home" printing anymore, except for multi-purpose printers at home and gallery. Ink and paper is a racket. For retail sale, I do a fair volume of small, medium and large prints. I send the files to Meridian Pro. They do a great job of color match. And, their prices beat anything I can do at home and I receive my prints in about 3 business days. (I used to use Shutterfly, but Meridian beats them in quality and print size selection.)

I do a lot of one off 12x18 prints that need quick turn around time. I use the 13x19 paper and it allows a one inch white border for framing. I was able to buy 20 sheets and get 80 free! I also picked up several free 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6 on the same buy 1 get 4 free deals. Or buy 4 common used inks and get a bunch of others free.

Most of my printing comes through my website for orders on regular work. However sometimes it's required that I get something there the next day and this option works much better. Although my cost is a bit higher per print to do this, the customers also understand that quality control and turn around time require a higher price when that happens.

So saving over $500 on common used items for myself or my customers was a nice surprise.
