Just received an email from Nik, which begins, "As you may have heard, Nik Software was recently acquired by Google Inc. We are very excited about the future and continuing to deliver amazing photographic editing tools and technologies to photographers... Thank you for your support, we look forward to continuing to providing you new and amazing photographic tools."
They go on to explain customers' records need to be transferred for continued support.
Sounds hopeful, but we shall see...

Got the mail too and noticed something interesting. Check the "alt" text under the Google+Nik logo. I only saw it because Google mail doesn't automatically display images.
Did I miss something? |

| yep mine says it too - must be their way of making us click on the email if by chance Mail marks it as spam... |

Yes, thanks, I participated in that one ;-). This new post was specific to the new email going out and Google's interest in your customer info.
