I have read some of the posts on this topic already, but I am still a bit confused. Just want to double check to avoid a DQ:
Under the advanced editing rules: I have an image that comes from one single source photo. Can I make several layers of it in Photoshop and apply the new layers in different modes (like soft light, multiply, etc..) to make different effects, or blur some layers in decreased opacity with portions erased? Is that legal? |

As long as it comes from the same original photo then what you said is fine :)
