NikonJeb, I completely understand. My first and only DQ was due to my stupidity. It happens. It takes a long time to get over the humiliation. But, life goes on. I just don't like that one pink stripe in my list of 600+ challenges. Historical records seem to last forever. I will say the one DQ experience has caused me to pay attention to the designated ruleset. And, in that respect I have learned a lot about pp.
eta: my DQ was also in a Minimal Editing challenge.

| What a guy, doing the right thing! That so sounds like something I would do... like fer instance shooting a big ol makeup job in self portrait and then changing my hair color in PS... Just to (find out ) err I mean remember its BASIC editing... OMG back to the war paint... Wonder how long it takes Black hair dye to leave (bleached) blonde hair..... sigh I feel your pain!!! |

I'm curious to see which one it is too! Hopefully we'll get a peek after voting closes!!
Being honest can sometimes be very difficult especially if you know there is a good chance no one will catch it! Kudos to you and good luck in future challenges!!
I'm brand new to the photography world and this site so I am glad to hear that members can laugh at their own mistakes and not be harassed(too badly....lol)!!
I look forward to some pointers and constructive criticism for any of my shots!
