right about where i thought I'd be, my i image has no substance but its very pretty and its scoring as such, which to say makes no sense.

A few of the low scorers may be being hit by people not reading the description, as well.

I think this is true.

I have a feeling people will "low vote" based on the fact that it's not a ROCK. They will simply look at the title of the challenge, not even reading the description.

I can almost understand it in some challenges, because sometimes it's buried pretty far in the description. But this description is right on the front page. I know someone who almost didn't enter because they were afraid that people would vote on the title alone. I've definitely thought that in the past -- that I was going to get hit for following the description when the title was so narrow, but the description wasn't.

Luckily, I think the majority of people still look to see what the parameters are before voting. But definitely not everyone.

i liked this challenge. Frankly i read petrock-expert i dont really look too hard at the description. I voted based on ROCKS. then i saw some complaints here and looked at it again. The scores didnt really change but but a couple did slightly. I left a note in there.

My score is OK... actually better than I thought.
Moreover, I'm happy to see so many people enjoyed the shot. It was fun.
And almost my highest commented photo during voting, just one comment behind my cliche entry.
