go into old aunt Betty's attic, grandmas house, or an antique shop and you can find some beautiful items.
perhaps you have a family heirloom or know of a wonderful place that has that antique feel.
I've seen there was a 100 year old challenge... but that seemed to have a lot of old places, rather than old items.

I think it would be helpful if people (not just you!) made their suggestions in the form of title/description, rather than the more lyrical description ("... aunt Betty's attic ...") you wrote ... you could add that as an additional comment afterward. Perhaps it could be something like this:
Title: Antique
Description: photograph an item (not a building or a person) which is at least ___* years old.
*The definition of "antique" can vary with the item -- furniture has to be a lot older than a car to "officially" (e.g. for auction purposes) be considered an antique, so consider that when picking a time frame.
Of course, if you include electronics it could be anything older than two years ... ;-) |
