So, I just got some really good shots of a pretty big art warehouse fire here in Miami.
Looking at whats up for news photos right now, it would seem I have much better shots.
My question is, can I sell these, and if the answer is yes, what is the best way to go about that?
Clearly, I don't want to run a newspaper photographer out of a job by giving them away free, so that's not what I'm going for.
I'll post them here in a while after I get done working on other important stuff. |

I know nothing about it, but my guess would be that you have a VERY short window of opportunity. |

You certainly have the right to sell them, that won't be an issue. As Art says, however, your window of opportunity is very narrow. Back in the day I used to contact the AP bureau in San Diego if I had anything topical to sell, and if they were interested they bought it from me. I'm not sure how that works these days, with this new-fangled internet and all... :-) |

Well, we'll see if anyone bites. :)
I signed up for an account, and posted the story/pics. |
