Usually Ellen and I try to go to a walk in a nearby smaller city we haven't photographed before. We went with a local walk this time, due to other time commitments. The leader basically walked us down the main road which we are all familiar with. Just a few blocks to either side are interesting commercial and industrial areas that parallel the main road. I don't know why he chose the route he did. I go some interesting pics, but it could have been better.

Ellen is nagging me to lead one in the FW Stockyards for next year, since I know a lot of the nooks and crannies off of the main thoroughfare, as well as some of the reenactors.

You'd be an excellent host. I agree with Ellen.

I went on one with my daughter yesterday. It was fun, but I didn't get anything too stunning. I'll post some in a bit.

Finally went through about a fourth of my images. Not entirely pleased with the results but it was a learning experience.

Don't have a clue if this link works because google plus won't even work on my chrome for some reason.
