Funny that, I sit here and ask the exact same question about Romney. |

if you look at the map of people going towards Obama.... They are states that are pro-union, extremely liberal and want gas at $5 or $6 a gallon, and also the states that are over-run with illegals......The rep states..dont have many unions, like gun ownership, enjoy rights for the citizens...

I don't understand why anybody thinks the president has anything to do with you having a job, unless you work for the government or a private contractor making money in the war industry. |

The pres has more power than you think...if he makes smart choices (Regan) the economy will boom. For instance, (obamacare) you don't try to get something passed that costs billions of dollars more, during a recession. A week after Obamacare was passed I was laid off. The reason...my employers health insurance was going to go up and I was one of the newer employees. I have found out that the company is about to fold because of the policies of this admin

Considering just how smart some of your presidents have been, it's a wonder the street are not lined with gold.

Could you chart the average cost of health care for your employer for the four years before Obamacare and the two years since? Interesting that you attribute the rise in cost to our president, who was responible before he was in office? Please answer as the bi-partisan that you now are.
I'll give you a head start.
"Real per person spending on health care has been increasing rapidly, rising over 40 percent in the past decade alone. Between 1980 and 2007, the share of gross domestic product (GDP) devoted to health care almost doubled. In 2004, the most recent year for which state-level data are available, Louisiana spent a total of $22.7 billion on health care, which represents $5,040 per person or 14.2 percent of Gross State Product (GSP). [Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), 9/2007, CMS 2/2007] Nationally, in 2007 the country spent $2.2 trillion on health, which represents $7,421 per person or 16 percent of GDP. [Health and Human Services, accessed 3/11/2009] This is nearly twice the average of other developed nations."
Please note: that 40% increase was before Mr. Obama was in office, when the free market was setting prices.

If you honestly believe that then I fear that you follow politics in the USA a lot less than I do.
Bi-partisanship in the USA almost seems to be a thing of the past... and the good of the country is relegated to second place at best, behind party politics and regional interests.
Viewed from the sidelines, it is a sad thing to watch.

Sorry to hear about your job loss, but I think you're blaming the wrong person. If you feel you need to blame someone then you should direct that to Congress. They do more to screw people like you then anybody else. Just recently the Senate republicans killed the veterans job bill. |

it seems we can go out of pocket to fight wars, but we need to stay budget neutral to support our warriors. if we could afford to help our retunring soldiers after WWII, we can damn well do it today. |

Unfortunately, most of those same senators that have been blocking that jobs bill for over a year have been re-elected. |
