This is something I actually do.
I never look at my LCD. I have a 20D as a backup camera, so trying to look at that LCD would hurt your eyes anyway. :)

I pretty much think my "new" S10 is perfect for this, why?
LCD? It's so awful that you are better off using the poor excuse for a viewfinder.
ISO? Well, they call it "gain" on this model (love that correctness!), and I have +1 or +2, but since it looks horrible at either, I don't move it from base amplification.
36 shots? Yeah, sometimes the battery will last that long - but the camera is really quite hot by then.

And hey, since I only paid $9.99 for the camera, that basically makes it about the same cost as a single roll of film developed would too... |

Not forgetting to post your memory card off to a processing lab, wait for 3 days, and then get a fat envelope back with 'quality issue' stickers all over your prints. |
