does anyone have a file for the firmware hack for the 300d, the links provided in general on the web offer a download link and a mirror to download from however each of the files downloaded are corrupt... its not me or my computer configuration I've tried it from several computers and the files downloaded from //satinfo.narod.ru/en/download.html are corrupt...
So if anyone happens to have a working version lemme know I would like to get a copy from someone... Tkanks.

ok well in a nutshell none of the files that can be downloaded from any of those links offers a good download that is not corrupt... so let me ask it this way does anyone have a patch that I could get a copy from that is a .fir file previously downloaded before that has been used and works, thanks

Yeah, I've got a firmware update which I have applied to my Canon EOS 300D. It was a while ago when I first got the camera and perhaps you're looking for a newer version?
The one I have is version 1.1.1

ok I was able to find a site where I downloaded a working version that includes all the previous hacks as well as adresses the WB settings issue... can be downloaded from my server now located at 300d Firmware Hack Download
