Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6

Been out of action for around 2 weeks with a chest infection and I`m climbing the walls..so decided it was time to look at old pics..outtakes from challenges and stuff I had simply forgotten about and see if I could make anything out of them.
Posting a few here and would appeciate any comments about improvements etc... as it`s the nearest I`m going to get to participating in a challenge for a week or so.

All I can say is that it is phenomenal work. Sentinals goes promptly in my favorites. Keep it up and get well.

Great photo's gordon... love the tree one and the lighting on vicky photo, think it's good to look over old photo now and again... and get well soon :-)

Thanks Brad..if the weather would just improve over here..I could maybe get back into action sooner :(

Keep diggin Gordon, some nice pics there,
We have had some terrible storms here and been housebound myself,hence I have dug up some old ones and made a couple into prints.
Hope you feel better soon.
I thought you were busy doin the nude pic. :)

Not recommended Jon...many thanks for the suggested improvements..had a go at sorting Vikkis` pic.
The swans..well it was a misty November day when I took the pic and the flaws you are mentioning are the reasons I didn`t progress it..but your absolutely correct in what you say.

Paul.."busy doing a nude pic"..what are you trying to do to me ..give me a relapse ??? No such luck mate !!!

Sorry about that chest infection... get well! 'Sentinels' is gorgeous! curious about your post production work... i agree with someone's Tim Burton comment... I'm looking around for Cristina Ricci... or are you saving her for the nude II challenge?

Kent..thanks for the good wishes....post processing ? never too difficult if I`m involved. a bit of dodging and burning..convert to sepia and a LITTLE "Neat Image"..not too hard.
As for Christina Ricci...now where did I put that inhaler?
