So, I just ordered the adapter with the dandelion chip, and it works great on my crop bodies, but won't mount on the 5D.

I can't seem to find much in the way of previous discussions on this, and the Amazon listing tells me it is compatible with the 5D, so I'm a little bit miffed at this point.

Any thoughts or advice guys? I'll most certainly be calling tech support tomorrow.

Physically won't mount? That's odd. I've used a couple flavors of Nikon>EOS adapters in the past (bought out of Asia), they've never been expensive ones, and they've worked well.

There's no reason it shouldn't work. That's bizarre.

Yep, physically will not mount.

I think it may be the dandelion chip - either of you have the AF chips on yours?

I don't have it. You might be on to something.
